Uncovering Their History: African, African American and Native American Buried in the Ancient Burying Ground, 1640-1815
This project completed in 2019 documented almost 500 individuals of color that were included in a publicly accessible database as well as a dozen essays that detailed their lives in early Hartford. In 2020, this project received an award from the CT League of History Organizations. CT Explored, the magazine of CT History, selected this project as a Game Changer Honoree in 2022.
