The Ancient Burying Ground Association seeks to preserve and promote Hartford’s historic burial ground. We respectfully celebrate the relationships and diversity of the people interred here. We serve a 21st century audience through education, historic preservation, and community engagement.
In 2026 the ABGA has dedicated efforts to the Tablestone monuments that are in desperate need of fixing and repairs.
Members receive discounts on programs, newsletters by mail, and e-news. Members of the Ancient Burying Ground Association are also invited to the Annual Meeting held in June of each year to elect members of the Board and to review ABGA’s accomplishments.
